Account Basics

Your account is the top level: you sign in once and then work inside workspaces. Everything you create (links, folders, custom domains) lives inside a workspace.

Workspaces

A workspace is like a project or brand: it has a name and a short “slug” that becomes part of your default URLs. For example, a workspace with slug acme gets links at acme.linkembed.io/your-slug. You can have multiple workspaces and switch between them in the dashboard.

Workspace settings (including the slug) can be changed from the workspace’s Settings page. The slug must be unique across linkembed.

Where to go in the dashboard

• Links — Create and manage embed and redirect links, copy URLs, and edit titles, slugs, folders, and passwords.
• Folders — Create folders and nested folders to organize links. Folder slugs become part of the URL path.
• Custom domains — Add and verify your own domain so links use your brand (e.g. links.yourcompany.com). Available on plans that support it.
• Settings — Change the workspace name and slug, and set a default custom domain for new links if you use one.
• Analytics — On supported plans, view stats and retention for your links.

Sign in and security

Sign in with the method you used when you created your account. Keep your password safe and sign out from shared devices. linkembed does not expose your account or workspace data to the public; only the links you create are reachable at their URLs.
